Solidarity Responsibility

Many members of the Albatross Legal community are committed to the same principles of social responsibility as the Albatross Foundation.

The Albatross Foundation is a non-profit organization legally established in 2011 in Singapore, in 2012 in China and in 2017 in France. The aim of the Albatross Foundation is to promote free education for all, and to build a global organization to educate young people about sustainable development, using innovative, interactive and fun tools. Given China’s environmental challenges, in its early years the Albatross Foundation focused on training Chinese elementary school children in environmental programs and the conservation of natural ecosystems.

Initially, the Albatross Foundation developed a series of 20 trilingual books (French/English/Chinese) aimed at raising children’s environmental awareness. Albatross books were launched at Expo 2010 in Shanghai, with the presentation of the first Carla Sarkozy game and promotion of their activities on the French Pavilion for 6 months.

In 2020, to cope with the restrictions imposed by the coronavirus epidemic, Albatross commissioned the development of a digital application: SAPHIR.

It’s an interactive, multilingual mobile application on the theme of water, with modules on filtration, the urban water cycle and the natural water cycle.

Developed in collaboration with our team of volunteer scientists and the CNRS, it includes lessons, quizzes, experiments and games at three levels, suitable for students from CE1 to CM2.

Albatross won the Trophée de Solidarité ProBono from the Paris Bar in 2020.
